Upcoming events! All events will be held at Camp Archbald unless otherwise noted.
All year long: Patch in a box – available at camp and libraries. Complete 10 tasks about Camp Archbald and return the request to email@example.com for your special edition 100th anniversary patch!
February all month: Fall in love with the 100th anniversary – a digital highlight of buildings and places around camp that made you fall in love with Camp Archbald.
March 8 – 14: A digital review of 100 years of camp history in conjunction with Girl Scout week. Have old candid camp photos or unit pictures? Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
April 26: 12-4pm Cast Iron Cook Off – Open to current Cadette and up Girl Scouts, this event will have girls cook off in a cooking challenge using only cast iron cookware. Girls are given a secret ingredient and have to complete the dish using the ingredient.
Cost: $25 per team

May 2: Tents up – Grab your troop, your friends, and anyone who can help for tents up! Volunteers need lots of help to get camp ready for the summer season. Any help big or small makes a difference. Last day to register: April 24 – sign up here
July 17-19: Camp Archbald Reunion – Open to any former campers, counselors, staff members of Camp Archbald. More details to come, save the date!
This year, SoCA will be hosting Family Camp, save the date! Open to families of all ages, camp is available for single overnight use camping or for the whole weekend. Not sure about sending your camper to resident camp? Join them and embrace the outdoors together and enjoy activities such as boating, swimming, hiking, campfires and archery.
Volunteers are also needed for the day and weekend to help with cooking and leading activities. Lodging and food is free for facilitators. Interested in helping or want more information? If you have a skill/knowledge that you’d like to offer, get in touch! No certifications are needed if you assist. Volunteer spots needed: swimming, boating, archery, active games, ropes course, climbing tower/zip line, fire building, camp craft lashing, arts and crafts, nature study/hiking, special skills and knowledge, kitchen staff.

September 12: A Century of Celebration – A big day for Camp Archbald! Join us as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Camp Archbald. Some activities include tours of camp, troop/family photos, arts and crafts, service projects and more. Mark your calendars, this day will be a doozy!
October 24: Tents down – Last day to register October 16, 2020 – sign up here
Hosted by GSHPA. Please join us for fall clean up and taking the tents down at Camp Archbald. Lunch will be provided. We also invite guests to stay Friday and/or Saturday night to enjoy camp! Volunteer lead needed for this event! Interested? E-mail email@example.com
