On Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019 members, alumni and friends of Supporters of Camp Archbald (SoCA) heart bombed Camp Archbald to show their love and support for the 99-year-old camp that is under potential closure. What is heart bombing? Sponsored by Preservation PA and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, heart bombing is when you take pictures at a specific location while holding signs to encourage others to learn about how they can help preserve your beloved landmark. With signs in hand, dozens of Girl Scouts took pictures all over Camp Archbald to share their message on social media in conjunction with Preservation PA. Preservation PA named Camp Archbald one of its top 5 at-risk sites for 2019.
