What We Do
It started with a vision.
In the face of impending closure for a cherished childhood camp, a group of compassionate individuals rallied to save the camp. With unwavering commitment, they harnessed community support, raised funds, and founded SoCA. Through their passion and hard work, SoCA has preserved the camp's legacy. We continue to ensure that generations of girls to come will have a place to create cherished memories, learn to be stewards of nature and grow into young leaders.

Our Impact in Numbers
200+ Girls Served in 2023 Alone
Through their annual Resident Camp and regular camp events, SoCA has hosted 200+ girls at camp in a variety of outdoors, leadership, and educational events.
20 Events Held
SoCA creates and hosts programming for girls of all ages, in addition to community events. These events range from educational to community-focused programs.
$120,000 Donated to Camp in 2023
Through our fundraising efforts, we’ve been able to gather funds to help preserve and restore buildings at Camp Archbald, maintaining the camp.
5 Buildings Restored
SoCA assisted the Girl Scout council in fundraising and completing work to restore Forest Troophouse, Meadows Cabins, and Sunnyside Unit. They are currently working on a Mariners Houseboats and Greenwood Restorations.
100% of Donations Go To Camp
We guarantee that all donations made to camp will go to the camp and programs they are earmarked for. We take pride in our work.
