August 14:  Kayak for Camp – approx. 10am-4pm
Location: Susquehanna River between White’s Ferry to Appletree boat launches
Cost: $30.00 to bring your own kayak or canoe. $50.00 single kayak rental. $70.00 tandem or canoe rental.

In addition to the above rental and transportation fee, a donation to Supporters of Camp Archbald is strongly encouraged.  Download a sponsor sheet here. Paddlers are encouraged to raise money for their participation on behalf of SoCA.

Please meet at Susquehanna Kayak and Canoe Rentals at 119 Krafty Rd. Falls, PA at 9:30am to sign waivers and hand in sponsor forms and donations.

The group will stop at Falls park for lunch, lunches will be given to a transporter prior to departure to be kept safe and dry and delivered to you at the park.  Please bring a bagged lunch, beverages, sunscreen and insect repellent. 

Payments can be made to the paddler in cash, check (made payable to SoCA), Venmo @supportersofca or on our website, found here. If paying via Venmo or the website, please note the name of the paddler you are sponsoring.

To further celebrate the 100 year anniversary of CA, we will be putting out a ‘zine comprised of submissions from our camp community: you folks! We are asking that you submit drawings, poems, stories – anything that reminds you of camp that you want to share with everyone! Camp songs are not allowed. You can submit to Noah Penny at 1 Bypass Lane Chapel Hill, NC 27517 or emailed to noahpenny3@gmail.com with the subject line “Zine Submission.” 

August 28: Stream Girls, starts at 9am
Location: Camp Archbald
Cost: $20 per girl, adults free

Open to Cadettes and Seniors. Stream girls is a Trout Unlimited watershed program for girls that builds confidence and breaks down barriers in science and the outdoors. Through the eyes of a scientist, artist and angler, girls make a personal connection to their home waters. Participants get a bracelet, patch and field notebook. The Stream Girls program has 8 parts:

September 11: Make a Splash – 12:30-4:30pm

Girls and adults are being invited to enjoy the lake at Camp Archbald for the day. S’mores snack included in cost. Swimming and boating available. Be prepared for the weather and bring sunscreen.

*September 18: S’more Fun at Camp Archbald: Looking forward to 100 More Years of Adventure
Time 9am-6pm
Cost: Varies – $35 event fee, $8 box lunch (optional) $70 for overnight, day and lunch

A do over from 2020. All are welcome! Come out to camp for traditional camp activities such as boating and arts and crafts. Find people who went to camp the same years as you for our decade photos, and spend the evening with a campfire and s’mores. Volunteers needed to help run activities. Want to help or have questions? This relaxing weekend at camp is just what you need! For $35 come to camp anytime after 5pm on Friday, October 15th and stay until noon on Sunday, October 17th. Don’t want to stay over? No problem! Come just for Saturday for $10. Fee includes lunch and dinner on Saturday and program supplies. This event is open to current SoCA members and their families. It is not geared towards troops.
